The Mission of Northwest Spine Care Institute
is to educate the community regarding treatment and prevention of back disorders, and to develop a comprehensive, conservative, research-based approach to the care of the spine. This multi-disciplinary approach will utilize cutting-edge research, based on programs piloted at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Utilizing patient survey reports, outcomes data and quality of life benchmark tools, clinicians at NWSCI can accurately and quickly track the course of their patients. By partnering with multiple institutions through out the Northwest and sharing outcomes data with the team, NWSCI sets new standards for progressive healthcare.

At the same time this enhanced quality of care results in lower healthcare costs by following conservative care guidelines before selecting more expensive options. In its push for excellence, NWSCI constantly works to identify and explore new treatment options, to improve the outcomes of patients with spine problems.
